Song, Percussion, Dance: song and dance courses with embedded historical context of Bomba in Puerto Rico along with present impact on ourselves and our community as a whole. Created and implemented curriculum and dance routines necessary to facilitate/lead the courses offered. Instruction of dance and songs of various Bomba rhythms including but not limited to Sica, Yuba, Cuembe, Holande, and Seis as well as other Caribbean genres as they connect to Bomba.

Beginners dance: focus on basic steps paseos simple piquetes posture Skirt technique (hold/hit)

Intermediate dance: review basic steps paseos various multi step piquete sequences posture Skirt technique (hold/hit) Instruction of Cua and Maraca pattern of various Bomba rhythms including but not limited to Sica and Yuba.
